It's fall and it's the perfect time to go outside on a leaf hunt!
Ask students to find leaves that have different shapes and colors. Then they can create a variety of leaf patterns before practicing that same skill on the FREE printable shown below.

My students also love writing about fall. I always let them look out of the window for inspiration. This simple trick helps a lot of students.
