I so remember when my kids decided that Velcro was for babies and they wanted running shoes with laces. 

Yup...that was fun!(not so much!)

Luckily, I've found a few videos that show easy ways to tie shoes. Watch them with your child or by yourself and then teach them how to do it. :)
